Employer Alliance Appoints Three to the Board of Directors

The Employer Alliance for Affordable Health Care, the largest single- business coalition in New York State, appointed three members to serve on its board of Directors at the August 19 annual meeting in Saratoga Springs.

Individuals designated for a two-year term were: Jeff Williams of West Sand Lake, Rensselaer County; Craig Lacy of Medina, Orleans County: and Pamela Finch of Oneida, in Madison County.

Williams is Senior Associate Director of Public Policy and Legislative Director of the New York Farm Bureau. He received a Bachelors of Art from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and a Masters of Professional Studies in Community Service Administration from Alfred University.

Lacy is the president of Medina Parts Co., Inc., a group of three NAPA Auto Parts stores employing 21 persons in western New York. He has been active with the Employer Alliance since the beginning, and also serves as a director of the Medina Savings and Loan Association. His appointment to the board took place August 19 at the coalitionÕs annual meeting, held in Saratoga Springs.

He is chairman of the Town of Shelby Zoning Board of Appeals and secretary of the Medina Canal Task Force. He is a committee member of the Sandstone Society, a local group dedicated to the preservation of our local landmark State Armory, and past president and a current board member of the Medina Historical Society. Craig's hobbies include history and local architecture. He is a lifelong Medina resident. He and his wife, Sarah, have been married 34 years. They have four grown sons.

Finch is a media relations consultant who specializes in helping non-profits and small businesses increase their visibility to attract new customers. Prior to starting her own business, Pamela was public relations manager for a Syracuse advertising agency. She also has more than 10 years experience as a daily newspaper reporter in Upstate New York. Pamela and her husband, Paul, live in Oneida with their son, PJ.

The board also reappointed Jeff Leland of Glens Falls and Rob Robinson of Oneonta, to a second term. Jeff is the current chairman and president of Leland Paper Co. Robinson is president & CEO of The Otsego County Chamber located in Oneonta.

Founded in 1997, the Employer Alliance for Affordable Health Care has more than 2,500 members, business owners, sole proprietors and business associations who believe that everyone is entitled to affordable health insurance coverage.
